I recently purchased my 1969 Camaro, thinking that it was a Z/28... There are all the marking emblems on the exterior, but I went to decode the trim tag, and I could not find the body type code. The numbers that appered in the spot for body type (I.E. x11, x77...) are P367? I am confused. There were no such numbers in the book, or on the net. If anyone knows what P367 is, please let me know.. Thank you.

P367 is unknown code used for processing cars at Los Angeles. No one has been able to figure them out but they appear to not be anything specific to car options etc.

If yoo post the complete trim tag and VIN, the people here can tell you more about the car.

On a Van Nuys car, you cannot verify Z/28 from the tag. check the engine code on the engine pad, to see if it's original. Then look for other "signs" like:
1 single fuel line, or evidence of it. (fuel sending unit, fuel line clips, etc.
2. 12 Bolt Rear
3. 4 Speed
4. reinforcing plate for driver side exhaust. Located on frame rail at 1 o'clock in rear wheelwell opening.
probably some others, as well.

Well, thanx for some insite... I am currently deployed with the 15 MEU, so I can't just go out and look at the tag. I'll be sure to get it on here as soon as I can...
