5691676 is the cast # any one now what it is off of or is it original to a 68 RS?

That casting # was used on lots of PS boxes.

There is a # stamp on the pad of the aluminum cover and there will be a date # cast into the body. There is a cavity # under the 676 #. You want the # next to cavity #. You should see two screw heads on either side of the date.
