Saw this 69 Coupe near work today on a Car Lot. Nobody around so I lifted the hood and got the numbers for ya.

ST 69 12437 NOR136772 BDY
TR 723 65 F PNT
10A X11

VIN 124379N695730

Is Silver with brown showing with 15" Rallyes, standard grille. Looks like a project with some rusty rockers. Has console with no gauges, automatic trans. Looks like it had 307 emblems on the fenders and had a V8 with 2 barrel carb that looked pretty stock, so I assume it is the 307.

Wow, another Olympic gold with green interior and brown vinyl top! I had not heard of this combo and 2 turn up in a matter of days.

I would like to see that color combo in person - it sounds ugly.

I noticed the color combo repeat too. I think it might look nice, esp with that top. Heck, beats having another orange one. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif))))

They're probably both the same car..now the owner who posted previously is gonna have a few words with Jonesy about lifting his hood! http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif

I remember wearing brown cordaroy pants and a green sweater when I was 5 and I sure as heck was no fashon statement. I had a 67 convertible that was coded 741 F1 so anything is possible!

Hey Kurt ez on the orange camaros. there must be a reason there are so many of them. My wife is from Tennesee and a big Vols fan, although Hugger orange isn't exactly Vols orange it was close enough to score a few points. I LOVE MY HUGGER ORANGE Z.

Ha, ha, ha......... The one I'm talking about is in Illinois at a bodyshop. The owner is going over there this weekend to get more numbers for you guys......

He acted like he was going back with a black top instead of the brown one.....

When I lifted the hood I couldnt believe that this car was ever that color combo. It has a silver exterior but you can see the Olympic Gold on the trunk lid. The vinyl top is long gone. Looks like it had plenty of body repair in it's day. I am positive the tag is orig to the car. The interior looked black to me though. The engine was a 2bbl V8 all orig with no air cleaner on it. Monoleafs and 10 bolt. I was quite nervous about opening the hood, but no one was around. Like I said, it was on a cheezy car lot here. I figured a salesman would come out of the building and tell me some long story about this being a COPO or something. http://www.camaros.net/forum/rolleyes.gif After looking at the car briefly, I knew this to be a MAJOR project. I never saw a 69 Camaro with thoroughly RUSTED rockers, even up here in MN. I may go back and take pics and find out what they want for it if anyone is interested.

When it's on a car lot, it's fair game. If you go back, could you grab a rag and look for the engine code?
Thanks!

And the orange comment was specifically aimed at how many of them there are, vs a gold and green car. I like unique. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gifhttp://www.camaros.org/exterior.shtml#ColorPercentages

How about a maroon 69 with red interior? Just got the data on one. Now that would be a cool looking car!

Down here in Texas, the University of Texas' school colors are orange and white. My car was originally Hugger orange with a white vinyl top and white interior. When I removed the rear seat to replace the carpet, I found a 1970 map of the UT campus.
