How many of you are running an advance kit on your car? Which springs have given you the best result?

This is very subjective... To give you an idea I had to use the heavy springs, the existing cam (did turn it over though) and the weights that came with the kit. The quality of the kit I got was very cheap. It took 5 or 6 times before I got the results close to what I wanted...

If you can find a shop with a dist machine, the hour labor is well worth it. If your going to do it yourself, get the best kit you can find. Make sure you have a timing light that lets you dial the readings and plan the whole day. If you get lucky the first or second combo you try you will be way ahead of me....

one thing to think about this is not a generic ? lots to factor in first is compression weight of car gas available gears altitude and so on I live in poky we are at 4500 feet your about 3000? my son has been running a 355 with 11.5 pistons and 64cc heads on the street we set the curve to all be in by 3000 rpm . and it runs great he has ran the engine in a 64 nova w/4.56 gears and a 65 buick sport wagon with out any knocking what I am getting at is go ahead use the lite ones if it dont ping should be ok
