I'm putting together a 69 and have a 350/300 hp. I want to get it right. The books I have indicate the 772 fan is for 302-396-427. Is it also correct for 350/300hp? Its a Pace Car, but I wouldn't think that matters. Thank you in advance for the help. Jim

Jim, It was not standard on an SS350, but if you ordered A/C or the Temp controlled fan option K02, you got the fan.

Hope that helps! Kevin

That helps. My car is a non A/C car. To be correct I should look for a 5 blade right?

Hmmm? I think it would be the 4 blade. I think the 5 blade was the clutch fan for 67 or maybe 68s, but I'm not sure.

Kevin is correct.
The correct fan is the 4 blade type for your car. The original GM part number is 3927791 and was used in conjunction with fan blade spacer #3927792

Without A/C or K02, the L48 got the same fan as the base V8 - the 4-blade 3927791 with the aluminum spacer. With A/C or K02, it got the 7-blade 3947772 (or 3956684) fan and the clutch (3946049) - same as used on the Z/28.

I have one of those fans and spacers with those numbers if you are interested. Well, I think I do. I will need to double check the numbers, but they sound very familiar.
The fan and spacer has been blasted and is already painted.

My 350 pace car has its original Harrison radiator (2 row) with four blade fan (and spacer). It actually pulls air very well. Though you do get a little more fan noise as compared to a clutch fan.
