I have an Ermine white car with a blue interior. I had a leak in the windshield which made the carpet start to mold last winter. I quickly ripped it out once I discovered it! Got the windshield replaced, leak fixed and now it's time for new carpet. I'm just not sure if I have medium blue or turquoise. How do I find out the exact color? My interior is 717 if that helps. Also, I've got the protecto-plate for further info if needed.

Since 717 is the code for a blue standard bucket interior, I would go with blue carpet. Turquoise interior would have been code 726..

Okay, I went and picked up the 'medium blue' and it's way brighter than the 'bright blue'. The 35 year old carpet I've got is right in the middle of the two choices. The medium blue seems too bright for my interior, but the bright blue seems too dark. I don't know what to do. Yes, the boxes are labeled correctly and the rep said that he didn't understand why they label them as such. Anyone know what I should do???

look for a tag on the original carpet, on the backside in the driver side front floor pan. Roger

There is also a typed date of June 25, 1968 on the tag.

I looked at a 67 Corvette with Bright Blue interior and this may be the color I have. It's a bit darker than what I have now, but with 35 years of sun and dirt that's probably what mine looked like new. However, the color it is now is a really good match for the interior and I don't want to get the wrong carpet.
