i have a 68 camaro. how can i tell if it was an ss/rs/or anything else? where do i look?

Unfortunately on '68 cars there is no easy way to tell whether it is a SS or Z car. You can try searching this site (upper right hand corner of the screen) for SS or Z28 to see past posts on this subject.

Another route would be to visit http://www.camaros.org/index.shtml ! There is a lot of information there also on how to decipher your cars numbers and clues to the options.
