Maybe well get lucky and find the car. This kinda thing does happen. Happened to me recently.

My trans has the VIN stamped 2 or 3 times in it.

Is this an often occurance?

I've got the image from 9N623561, 26 cars from this one. The assembly date on that one is P9A14A. The stamps are arranged exactly the same as this one, except for the second stamp above the Muncie assembly date. Wonder where it hid for 2 months.

Thats intresting. I guess it was in the bottom of a pile! hahaha.

Or in the holding room for repairs? LOL. Correct me if i am wrong Mark, but according to published Time Built Code Data, the 9N623561 car in your data base should be a late March vin, wonder why that trans was dated 2 months earlier? Most trans i have observed are within a couple of weeks of the car vin, of course there are exceptions. Just My 2 bits worth.
