For 69 it means Ivory/black interior with standard bucket seats.

Edit: why am I always posting the same time as someone else? Freaky. . .

what does ivory/black interior exactly look like? does it have delux seats?

For a 69, 727 = Ivory standard seats and ivory standard door and qtr interior panels. Everything else was black, dash, dashpad, console, carpet, seat belts.

729= Ivory Deluxe Houndstooth seat and ivory deluxe door and qtr panels, everything else was black.

That's strange..you couldn't get a deluxe white or ivory interior on a convertible in 69..

No, Dennis, I'm not knocking your incorrect houndstooth, I just thought of that..hmmm

Dennis, Well, the thread was starting to turn ugly http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif with the mixing of deluxe vs standard and I felt I just had to set things right! http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif

I am still torn on what I will use in my interior. I have a full set (plus 2 more buckets) of new Al Knoch deluxe black houndstooth for a convertible plus a full set (plus 2 more buckets) of used black deluxe comfortweave that needs a little repair.

I know that the houndstooth was not available in the convertible, but I like the idea of some cloth on those hot summer days. The comfortweave is in really good shape and would just need some seams sewn and one replacement panel on the drivers side and would be more correct. Plus the original comfortweave will look much nicer then the repro stuff. I'm still undecided!

Anybody have info on how hot the comfortweave is?

I couldn't tell you, Kevin. The sun doesn't visit these here parts. I'm sure it gets just as hot, if you ever get stuck with the top down in the rain with houndstooth, that stuff will soak up the water like a sponge
