1969 SS convertible jack instruction decal...
Rick's lists a convertible decal and an SS decal, anyone know which one is correct for an SS convertible?
Thanks

I looked in a couple of catalogs, and they list one for coupe and another for SS coupe. I never knew there was a difference.... The convt storage location is different. What's the difference between coupe and SS?
Coupe 3949506
SS 3949515
convt 3949513

Wheels.
Rallye wheels or steel wheels with hubcaps. I believe that is the difference.

Jonsey,
Are you saying that the difference is drawing showing the rally vs. standard steel. or are there differences in the way the jack is stowed. I always thought it was odd that there was not a separate sticker for endura bumper. That seems to be more of a difference than slots in the wheels.
In 68 there was a decal for coupe, SS coupe, convt and SS convt. But in 69 there was not one for SS convt. If it's a wheel thing, how come no SS convt sticker? Also, what would a Z get? What about a Yenko, that would get rally wheels?

I should have been more clear. Wheels as in the storage and jack placement during storage. That is my guess. Without looking at them all side by side, I would not know what the difference is.

Here's what the factory assembly manual says:
3949506 - Jacking sheet for coupe- exc SS
3949513 - Jacking sheet convertible- all
The jack and wrench are stored differently from coupe to convertible. In the convertible, there is a depression in the trunk pan that the wrench lays in and is stored under the tire. The jack mast is stored under the tire also with the mast positioned front to back. The jack base is positioned on top of the spare and holds it down with threaded rod and wing nut. The tire in the conv looks like it is stored more to the pass side of the trunk than the coupe.
The coupe shows the tire mounted more in the middle of trunk with the wrench and jack mast strapped together and held into place on top of the tire by the threaded rod, jack base and wing nut.
3949515 - Jacking sheet for L35, L48, L78 (rpo PW7)
3949508 - Jacking instruction sheet for spacer saver spare coupe(rpo N65)
Space saver spare get mounted on pass side against wheelhouse and forward in the trunk compartment, but convertible stores the mast in a different location than coupe.
3949510 - same as above but convertible.
3984091 - Jacking sheet for optional N66 wheel- coupe
3984092 - Jacking sheet for optional N66 wheel- convertible

Thanks everyone.
One more question...does the jack instruction decal go in the center of the trunk lid, with the posi decal off to the passenger side, or vice-versa? I see it both ways.
Thanks again.
