Well according to ebay rules you are not to do that. But if it was not what the sell was advertizing than maybe you saved someone alot of problems. Hay was this a 1969 Z/28 that was a stolin car and there was not much left. Its ok if you do not want to say. But this guy was selling a 69 Z/28 and someone told his bidders that it was well junk and added to his listing that it was not true what the guy was saying about his car and that he said anyone not sure should come and see the car for them self. Not sure if this is the same deal.

I know you meant well, and while it seems to be a decent thing to do, you are interfearing with an auction and it is not the right thing to do. You can get into trouble that way.

Hate to say it but like stingr69 states you are interfearing with the guys auction and trouble could be just around the corner. Myself, I would have left a negitive feedback for the seller after you won the car the first time and after seeing the car retracted your bid. I always check the feedbacks of the sellers wheen I am thinking of bidding on an item.
