Dusting off my SSBC disk brake kit (installation soon...well, getting closer..) as well as sending the control arms and spindles to the powdercoater...

I am amazed how these disgusting old grease covered components look factory new!! Plus I got them back in the same day

Even the spindles...which were new, look 1000 times better...ok this is going to be addictive

Yeah, I took off my old leaf springs last night. Looked at the shock mounting plate, brackets, etc.

Went into a trance - MUST GET POWDER COATED.

How much does the powdercoating cost for the smaller pieces such as suspension parts?

That included glass bead blasting

I have to say, looking at the before and after pictures. I want to go right out to the garage and pull all my suspension parts off and get them powdercoated. Well worth the price.

I'll warn you now...if you go out and get yourself a home powdercoat kit, like the Hotcoat by Eastwood, it gets worse!

Without question, I powdercoat darn near anything that unbolts and fits in an old household oven, and that there's a color I want to use. This time around I even tried the high temp stuff on my exhaust manifolds.

Bigger stuff can be done at home with the big, hot lights Eastwood sells, it just takes a lot longer. I cleared the polished tailpipes on the 68 this way.

I've even powdercoated dog watering bowls (a cool candy grape color), home hardware, you name it.

Waaaayyy too addictive!
