Im planning on building a 69 Camaro for my first car(hate imports) in the very near future with my father. I am planning on building a Pro-Touring Camaro and I am just gathering information. Does anybody know how to install independent rear suspension in a Camaro... maybe something from a Corvette. Is it even possible, has anyone actually done it? and also is there any companies that make kits? Thanks for the help
Ralph

Go to www.protouring.com (http://www.protouring.com) and click on the link for Wayne Due. He has a kit to put corvette independent rear along with front frame which accepts c4 cprvette stuf.

That link takes you to some weird ad. Though I know at www.waynedue.com (http://www.waynedue.com) Wayne has pictures of his IRS, but no pricing information. Wayne is the king of first gen front subframes, so if anyone can do IRS on a firstgen its him.

The link should be www.pro-touring.com (http://www.pro-touring.com)
You need the hyphen. It will be worth checking out the forums there also as there are others interested in this topic.

You might contact Teetoe Jones by doing a search here b/c he was also interested in doing this a while back.

I know he has been in contact with Wayne on this so you might save some time by chatting with him b/c he might be several months ahead of you in fabrication if he got into the project he was talking about.

I forget how far along Teetoe was when I dropped out of the thread. Sorry. pdq67

Thanks,as i get further down the line ill try to contact Teeto and see what he did or if he did it. Waynes subframes are really nice but they're expensive.... wish i had a bit more $$..
