bought some stock replacements and they are real crap. i did see some on the coleman racing site .. they offer aluminum tie rod sleeves but not sure if they are correct for my car .. the listing states that the left one is 13 1/2" long and the right is 14"

says made out of 1" o.d aluminum tubing
7/8 hex on both ends
5/8 right and left handed thread

price is right at about $12 each..

anyone used these or others.
want to put some good parts under there.

thanks

Brad

yeah ... and global west has a set for $46.75 ... a little cheaper...

that coleman sleeve must not be for a stock application .. the sleeve on my car is no where near 13" long

I'd say they are about 5 inches. Buy one and cut it in half! (just kidding) Seriously though,I'd suggest you find a friend with a lathe and make them. Just don't forget to use locknuts.

Keep looking on the coleman site. They list steel sleeves ranging from somewhere around 5" to 20". I bought 6" sleeves for my first gen.

thanks .. will keep searching... global and hotchkis seem a little pricey for such a simple part...

pays to shop around i guess!
