I know this topic has been covered multiple times and I have read the majority of the posts regarding this topic. I have linked to David Pozzi's steering site and read that info.

What I need is some help in determing what will work in my car. I have a 69 camaro with a big block and no a/c. The car originally had a V-6 in it. I don't know if that will have any bearing on this discussion.

I know I need a new pitman arm, and coupler for p/s. Do I need a new idler arm as well. Or should I measure that and get back to you?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I'm not afraid of doing the work, I just want to eliminate as many surprises as possible.

My goal with this post is to basically have a complete shopping list so I can go spend some money. THANKS!!!!

I got their system and it bolted up in an hour.
no problems whatsoever.
order their catalog the kit is in there.
and the sales staff are all hotrodders and a few of them got 1969 camaros.

The Borgenson stuff looks cool, although I don't see a camaro application listed (not a problem I'm sure.) I imagine they can put together a box of all the right stuff... for what looks like 2 or 3 times the price the local auto parts store can do it....

All of this stuff is available from any parts store, if you do oem '69 steering, other than the pump mounting brackets, which would come from a repro house

The list:
Parts store appl. '69 Camaro
Pump
hoses
steering box
ragjoint
pitman arm

repro house
pump brackets

3rd gen alternative:
86 camaro special high perf. steering box (from parts store)
conversion ragjoint and fitting adapters (from Lee enterprises)
