Personally I like them. They are easy to bolt in, they are the same thickness as the stock frame, and they help support and tie into the rear spring pocket.

However to get the maximum stiffness, the subframe connectors really need to be welded in. But first make sure that your front subframe is aligned strait in the car and take the opportunity to change the stock rubber body bushings to solid aluminum bushings. On my car I also cut and welded some small pieces of steel as gussets to bridge over the joints and further tie the subframes into the car.

Hey Torker,
I definitely plan on installing SF connectors. I was just trying to get info on various manuf. as for as ease of installation, affectiveness, and how low they may hang under the car. It looks like the Jegs FC have a mounting point that bolts to the front eye on leaf spring. I'm going to be putting in a new rearend, probably Hotchkis drops and FC all at one time. What FC did you use?
Nice looking car by the way! What manuf are your wheels?
Thanks,
Guy

I used Jegs bolt-on ones and like them.

I used Cornholio's "floorjack method" to help push them up as third hands!!

Great advice from Corn!!

BTW, where is the "Pecker-wood" anyway?? I just LOVE that Handle, He, He!!!!

I used the CE connectors - but I welded and gusseted them in and used solid body mounts. The car as it sits in the photos on my website uses hotchkiss leaf springs. Good luck with your project.
