Anyone out there running a Martz rear suspension setup? Take a look at this coilover unit, it is hard to tell if it would work well from the two pictures. Interesting though. It's the first one on the page.

It says would allow mini tubs with large-by-huge tires and still keep the back seat

Like their front sub, it doesn't look like "ride quality" was major consideration. graemlins/clonk.gif

From the looks of the picture, it looks like the control arms are really short, I was wondering how well this would hold pinion angle through the suspensions travel. Probably not the ticket for my purposes. Seems like all of the companies that make the really good front clips, especially the ones that work well from a performance handling aspect, would make a kit for the rear of the first gen's. There is a company called Griggs racing that makes a trick torque arm setup for Mustangs, I am considering this for my 65 project though it is pricey.

for less money, you can get the HTH "truckarm" setup that is similar to what Winston Cup racers have used for 30 years. you could then stop and "put a round of wedge into it", just like they always talk about during the races. a couple of guys on the Chevelle board have this setup, and seem to like it a lot. i've never read a definitive answer to the exhaust clearance issue, however.

Hey N-D, where can I find info on this setup, I have heard about it a couple times, but never seen it, could not find info on a casual search. Any links?

This looks like a nice setup. I E-mailed HTH about the exhaust, they run them out the side but say its concievable to run it all the back under the car. On the Chevelle site I did a search for this and came up with a price around 1300 but they must have had increase's cause they emailed me with 1895.00. Seems kinda steep to me, but I'am still interested. I think I'am definitely going to mini-tub but may just use DSE's Offset hangers for the Leaf springs.
