I studied you site and what a wealth of info. I am installing PS to my 68 w/327 (66 vette), 2.02 heads. I looked at the pumps you have in the picture and the pulley, in the picture, looks closer to the body than mine. I think the pump I have may be from a 6 cylc. Is the neck different on a 6 to a v8 PS pump? Is ther different size pulley's? I have checked the local parts store with out any results. I do have the correct brackets. The second question is: will the belt, for the alt. be in the way. I currently have the ram horn exhaust that have the Alt. attached. I have lost my patients and I dont want to Loose my time and money!

At the risk of stepping in on the expert, take a look at this paper.
http://www.corvettefaq.com/redir.asp?site=420
One thing to add, the paper talks about corvettes, but the camaro and corvette pumps are identical. So just replace camaro wherever you see corvette.

The pulley on my pump is not the stock one. I swapped on deep groove pulleys and they require a more offset forward pulley by about 3/8".
I have all the part numbers listed on my page for stock pulleys, and they are all available from the reproduction vendors like Rick's.
Also, the CRG site has a chart of pulleys for all first gens.
For deep groove, the pump pulley I found was from a wrecking yard. Don't know the car it's off of.
I can measure the stock pulley offset for you, if you want to compare.
