I ordered a front speaker for my '69 and I took off a rotten speaker out of one of my cousin's '69 Chevelles for the bracket. The magnet on the Chevelle speaker is vertical perpendicular to the speaker, while the Camaro speaker magnet is horizontal + to the speaker. Are they different? The speaker is a Delco speaker that is supposed to fit.

That's what the speaker I ordered looks like but the Chevelle bracket is different. My cousin said he thinks he still has a Camaro speaker new in the box. The kick panel speakers I ordered didn't fit at all.
