Well, I am about 80 percent complete on my Baer conversion.

I just noticed that I am going to need a splitter for the front brakes. (I sold my old front disc and master cylinder)

Any idea where to get one other than a Camaro catalog.

Also, I was putting the banjo fitting on the front calipers this morning and rung one off. I was so mad. graemlins/angry.gif I went by the torque setting in the instructions (20 ft lbs) and it broke. I have never torqed them before, but decided to follow directions for once. Oh well.

Does anybody know a match for the banjo bolt.

I wanted to get one sooner rather than later, and it will be Monday befor I can call Baer and get the cross reference.

Thanks

if it is a PBR caliper, go to GM and get a "hose retainer" for a 94 Vette.
as for the splitter, head to the boneyard and get a prop valve from any old 4 wheel drum Nova. add an adjustable prop valve in the line to the rear brakes, and hook it all up and start stopping faster.

check out www.performanceplumbing.com (http://www.performanceplumbing.com)

These guys have a very comprehensive selection of specialized fittngs, more oddball applications than you'd find elsewhere...

or you can just order a 10mm banjo bolt - about $6, Earl's P/N 977517 from summit, Jegs, etc.
