Does anyone know if it's o.k. to use Mobil 1 synthetic grease for the wheel bearings (with disc brakes). Or should I use specific "high temp" grease?

Works well so far! Go for it! graemlins/thumbsup.gif davidpozzi Apr 15th, 03, 09:40 AM http://www.mobil1.com/index.jsp click Apr 15th, 03, 11:24 AM If you bought it, use it. If you havent bought yet, do it. The good syn products like Mobile and Amsoil are far superior to any of your standard petro products. I use them stem to stern. Engine, axles, grease zerts, differential. graemlins/thumbsup.gif GlennC Apr 15th, 03, 11:52 AM graemlins/thumbsup.gif Thanks for all of the responses. I had already bought Mobil 1 syn. for the ball joints and just wanted to be sure it was o.k. for the bearings. Thanks again graemlins/waving.gif I'll be using syn everywere I can. |
