I'm doing the 13" cbb. I got the 1/4 steel adapter plates and cut down spindle boss per David site. Now I have to make the holes on the adapter plate to bolt the caliper bracet on. Can anyone tell me what the clearence should be between the caliper and /or caliper bracet and rotor, anotherwords from caliper center to outer edge of the rotor.
Thanks

i would say to visually center it in every way.i am doing the 12" brakes, and putting the loaded caliper into the bracket, and sliding it over the rotor, it looks pretty easy to just center it. i haven't made the steel brackets yet, and need to get a set of hubs, but i think it looks pretty easy.

ismial,
You don't need to cut the spindle if doing a vette rotor and caliper swap.
guys that use disc spindles wind up using a spacer on the top spindle hole.

thanks for the offer of the template, ismail, but i have the one off david's site. i had to shrink and expand the picture a few times to get the holes to line up with my caliper bracket, but i think i have it now. i just need to get my spindles apart, get the drum hubs, and get the steel to make the brackets. the calipers on the rotors look bitchin laying in my living room.

A friend of me make it for me But I cut some of it with angle grinder and seems like you can do it that way. Allso cut some outer diemeter of the hub to flus fit the caliper.
