I've read that raising the front leaf spring eye gives you more anti squat. Does anyone know if using a reversed spring eye would give the same effect?

You acheive more anti squat by raising the instant center. In the case of a leaf spring suspension you do this by raising the front spring mount or lowering the rear mount with longer shackles. Changing to a reverse spring doesn't change the instant center. The rear axle still pivots around the same point.

I raised the front spring eye about 3/4" to 7/8" to slightly lower my car AND to improve anti-dive.

I redrilled the holes and welded 1/2" washers on the outsides of each hole for extra strength and then cut a window in the top of each mount so the top of the spring would fit. It isn't hard at all, but rather just time consuming.

Drill four corner holes and then use a saber saw and metal blade and the old trusty 4.5" angle grinder to cut the top out. pdq67

I was told of re rolling the front spring eye like that many years ago by a road racer with a 69 Camaro.
I don't see how it would change anything, because the pivot points are not changed at all by doing that.

Raising the front hole is probably good, but there is not much room.

great, now i have another "ultimate handling" mod to do to my Nova.. between that and the Guldstrand mod and chopping a Moog spring designed for a big car, i will never get the thing totally done. i really should stop reading this suspension forum, i get too many ideas here...
