I'm working on a 70 nova BB and i have the offset hangers from Competition engineering it bolts to the orignal spring holes and inboard are 2 bolts that you have to drill for but the bracket is to long and runs into the fuel tank mount my qestion is can you cut say 3 inches off and then bolt it seems like it be alot cleaner job and it would fit better

i dont see anything wrong with cutting them a little shorter as long as you bolt them to the trunk pan ,i had to make spacers for mine to get them straight 67 nova though

Thanks Junk Yard i got it done this weekend i cut'em and had to hammer the body in a little they run right next to the trunk drain holes and they would not sit level it turned out pretty nice. i thought that was gonna be hard and it turned out getting the springs and frame connectors in is gonna be harder sure have to notch the spring perch alot to get the springs to swing over enough to put the shackles on
