I recently had all my bushings changed to urethane. I now have a squeky bushing on the right lower control arm bushing. I am not sure if the suspension shop put enough grease or any at all. Is there anyhting that can be done to eliminate it?

The poly bushings frequently squeek after a while. It can be reduced with lubricant but it will probably be a recurring issue. OEM bushings do not squeek but that is a choice to make when you replace them.

I have semi squeaky front bushings and I occasionally spray them with an aersol can of silicone spray. It has made the squeak go away until I start driving in the rain everyday.

My brother is a plumber and he gets big tubes of silicone grease for valve stems from the local wholesaler. It is not as slimey as the small pouch of silicone grease that you get with your bushings and it has a little thicker consistency, but it will work. They sell the same silicone grease at Home Depot in a little one ounce jar located near the replacement valve stems, but it would probably cost the same as the suspension grade silicone grease due to the small one ounce packaging.

I have read (not tried) that you can mix powdered graphite with water, put it in a spray bottle, and spray the snot out of the bushings. The water is supposed to soak the area between the bushing and poly. It dries, leaving the graphite. Worth a try.

The funny thing is I replaced the ones on my Corvette over ten years ago and they never have and still don't squeek. They are both from energy suspension.
