Will these wilwood option brakes fit my car.... i need and e brake and i am running 15 inch weld street stars(15x7rear 15x6front)...car weighs 3,200 without me in it. will this kit fit my car or is there a better cheaper four wheel disc system? Oh almost forgot i have front disc rear drum, iknow im gonna have to cahnge alot to get it all worked out....all i know about the front disc is wheni needed a new caliper(cause the bleeder froze and drilling and tabing didnt hold preasure) i had to track down a new caliper. i had some crazy gearhead crossreference the caliper to be from a 74 malibu??? it worked and was the same as the other side. well any help is as always appreciated.

i guess with Wilwood brakes, unless you get up into the 4 piston calipers with big, thick rotors, they are not very good for a street-type setup. most of their drag race/show car type setups are just too small to be effective in situations where you do a lot of hard stopping. i don't know about the setups you listed- as i am too lazy to go looking- but Baer setups (or copies of Baer setups using GM parts) seem to be the way to go 'round these parts. you can make your own "Baer" brake setup using Vette or Camaro parts from any parts store or GM dealer for half the price of a kit, and get the same brakes plus the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself.

David, I could not find the part number for the rear on wilwood's site. What is the rear rotor diameter on that set? I think all of the rear with the parking brakes are 11.9o"x.81". If that is the case than I would not use the front kit you have listed as it uses 10.75"x.81 rotors. Too small and too thin for front brakes at that weight of a car. The rears will work. You can get the 11.90" diameter front kit though. Still the .81 thickness on that rotor is a bit thin for my liking, for the front.

As for fitment on your 15" wheels, the short answer is I do not know. It should, but you can give Wilwood a call and the will give you a better answer on that.

I have the rear with the parking brake on my 67 and am impressed with the build. I went with the 6 piston fronts though.

Remember, cheap brakes can kill you. Baer puts together an great product. More cash than Wilwood. It is way easier to make a car go fast than stop proporly. When I mash on the binders, I want it to be solid with no worries. Wilwood did have some issues with the earlier kits with the 10.75" rotor. It is just not enough rotor for hard driving. If you are building a trailer queen then the smaller one will work.

how much would a bolt on 4 wheel disc from baer cost??? any other good street application company for a guy who would like not to wreck his ride?

would the 12.19 rotors be enough?

68rally, it should. How do you plan on driving it? Is it a driver only, drag, autocross? 12" is a lot of rotor. I only went with the larger because I plan on to autocross my car. It is getting the whole pro-touring treatment. You still may have fitment issues with you 15" rims though. I am not an expert, but will gladly help with what I know.
