Looking for some feedback on the use of "Eaton-Detroit" rear leaf springs. My all Original Mono leaf coupe needs some help. I have talked with Eaton-Detroit and they will either sell me a mono setup that lacks the original taper or sell me a multi leaf. The other solution is to send them my old mono springs and they will check them and attempt to re-heat and re-arch. Has any one purchased a mono or 4 leaf setup from them, If so do they look somewhat original in appearance, Or has anyone sent them their old Mono's for a re-arch. If so I would like to hear your thoughts.... If I can't go original I likely will go 4 leaf.

I was a bit disappointed with my Detroit-Eaton springs. They look great now but I had to send them back because the arch was too low by 1.25"! I had originally ordered a spring with 1" drop from stock but received ones with 2.25". I was not happy to have to pay for the shipping to have them re-arched.

The Eaton monos I am putting in right now are a little wider than the originals. You wouldn'd see a difference from stock without close exam and measuring. The only thing that the wider middle area seems to affect is having to trim the new Energy Suspension poly pads. The edges of these pads look like they were designed to come up on the sides of the stock leafs. The new monos fit snugly in between the sides of the perch instead of having the gap like the old ones.
I haven't driven these yet, but will be finished installing today. The ride height looks pretty much identical to the stock height before.
