I have had problems lately with braking. The power brake sytem I have is original and I want to replace the booster and master cylinder. This is for a '67 RS with front disc and rear drums. Any recommendations? I have seen prices ranging from $125 to $500 for the setup.

NPD carries a 7 or 9" booster/master cylinder setup for $289
Paddock- remanufactured booster and master for disc $189

The auto parts stores have what you need. $90 for a Cardone booster with master for a '67 Camaro with front disc\rear drum. The set I bought even had the bleeders for the front\rear reserviors on the master.
Only thing I don't like about the booster is that it's dark grey, unfinished. I'll be painting mine.

Thanks guys. What I have noticed on mine is that since we put in the big block and cam my vacuum has dropped to around 12" of Hg which could pose a problem with the booster working well.
