Novaderrik put a post about wrong part number for 12"JL9 vette rotor. After that he corrected himself saying that he made mistake, I beleive you missed that post. Just a reminder, you can take out the warning on your web site.

But I got another correction for you.
When I ask GM dealer for 13" rotor part# to avoid wrong order, they gave me part #
18028284 LH 13" rotor
18028285 RH 13" rotor,
and my caliper and bracet part # same as on your web page.

I was reading on your web page that you are considering a mini tub and you mention to move the spring inward about 1.5". I did some measurements on my 67 and find out that
not need to move the springs in no more than 3/4" .
Because
from the axle end(from wheel mount. surface) to frame rail is 8" (measured this like having 26" tire end where would be hitting the frame and spring, another word 13" radius from axle),
and to the spring is 7 1/4". So if springs moved in 3/4" would be at same vertical line with frame.

I just wanted to tel you about this for your information.

Thanks for the updates.
I have heard of an improved curved vane rotor. Since your numbers are left and right specific, are those the curved vane?

I haven't gotten into the rear yet but I looked yesterday at the gas tank to spring clearance and there isn't a lot of room to move without getting into clearance trouble.
I'll probably move just a little like the 3/4" you recomend.
It would be possible to cut into the rear frame rail for more room but it would be more work.
Thanks, David

Cool!
You have the best rotors available from GM!
What year vette do they come from?
How thick are they? I suspect about 1.1" thick?
Thanks, David

those 13" curved vane rotors are the ones that showed up when i had my buddy behind the counter order for the JL9 code. they looked pretty neat, and i wanted to try them, but i already had the calipers and brackets for the 12", and have 16" IROC wheels, so i had clearance questions.i really want to get this stuff on my new subframe and get it under the car..

Do they offer 12" curved vane rotors? I see Baer has their new Eradi-speed rotors for Vettes. If I remember correctly, they are about $900/pair. I don't know how much street difference it makes.

There is no LH or RH number for 12" rotors so I'm assuming that they are not curved vane.

The 1988, 13" vette front rotors are curved vented and 1.1" thick. pdq67
