I have a remote chance to pick up a rear JL8 assembly (Backets, rotors, calipers) from a 69 Z28 that was removed because the person draged raced the car...at least that is the story. They have been sitting on a shelf in his garage for years. What are they worth if real, and how can you tell if they are? I told my friend, to let me know if his friend wants to sell them, but I need to know what the value is if it gets to that point smile.gif ...thanks...Mike

It would be great if you could get the original housing too, since it has the JL8 bolt pattern for the caliper brackets.
He shouldn't have been able to swap on some drum brakes without modifications to the housing.

The caliper brackets and rotors are just Corvette parts, so not worth tons more money, but the calipers might have certain casting numbers on them.

The emergency brake cables, and cable brackets that guide the cables under the lower shock plates are special pieces and desireable but available as reproduction pieces.
