What are the location differences on the firewall, if any, for 1968 Camaro heater cores for straight six, small block, and big block? Yes, I'm too lazy to look it up......
Thanks,
BW

The six-cylinder and small block locations are the same, right behind the passenger side valve cover (or close to it). The big block car heater cores are relocated farther out on the firewall, because of the clearance issue that a big block presents. Hope this helps.......KZ

SWEET, I just looked at a "big block SS" that hopefully will be mine by this weekend if all goes well. I did notice that the heater core was well towards the passenger side as compared to our small block 68. Is there any information that would suggest that SOME small block cars slipped by with this different heater core location? ON a different note, the engine frame mounts on big block cars from 68 and the 302 and 350 are the same????? Yes, I plan to throw in a small block. I have a few just ready to be put in anything. Thanks, again. This forum is a beautiful thing.
