You can check out the X-bodied cars of the period if you can even find a yard that hasn't crushed them.. (Nova, Apollo, Ventura and Omega spell NOVA!!!?...
Or get an "iddiots" cat. b/c they make them for different applications but it won't be stock..
I hope I have their name right???
BTW, I ordered mine with one in it along with the optional plastic walnut wheel and SS center cap.

Thanks for the tip, I am not going for the stock look. I do have another question though. I am looking at doing the 12 C-4 corvette disc brake swap from David Posi and was wondering if anyone out there is making the braket for the swap and whose has any words of wisdom be 4 I tackle the project? graemlins/thumbsup.gif

if you have access to a drill press, and have the ability to download and print the template off Dave's page- then make the brackets yourself out of 1/4 cold rolled steel. get a few extra chunks of steel, as it might take a few tries to get the bolt hole spacing just right. a trip to the hardware store will get you the fasteners you need- the caliper baskets are something like 14mm threads, and your stock steering arm bolts should work to hold the bracket to the spindle- but new grade 8 bolts are cheap at any farm implement store. and you MIGHT need to get the drum brake hubs machined down a tad to get them to seat properly in the back of the Vette rotors.
other than that, it is a pretty straight forward swap. and, depending on what you've got for wheels, they might even clear 15" wheels with a quick touch with a sanding roll in a hand drill to the corners of the calipers. if you've got 16" wheels, you should be good to go.

Type in Pro-Touring and look in both Brake forums and then ask Teetoe if his bracket will work for you..
I think he made 50 sets??
