I have a 71 camaro that I just purchased and it has some later model pontiac column in it now, that is all messed up, I want to put another one in, does anyone know what will interchange, as far as splines and electrical connectors for turn signal switch, etc. Thanks..

You should be able to use a column from any 70-78 Camaro or Firebird, maybe even up to 81. I think the coumn changed when the Camaro dash was changed. I think the plug for the turn signal wiring harness is different, I believe it changed from flat to curved in the mid 70's. There might be an adapter available, not sure. Columns for these cars are readily available, you should have no problem finding one. While you are at it look into a tilt, they should be available for $75-100 max. Good luck.
