I saw these cars at Seattle in July Its worth the entry to see them up close. I talked them about rules, seems they do what they want pretty much.. , Are you still getting ready to go in November for the scca weekend?? Mine is ready to rumble , first race is the same weekend as Laguna.
Need to do an alignment before I go, anybody got a better setting that the guldstrand setup? I was going with the race camber, the slalom caster, and a little toe out.
I have manual stering and the track is slow with all corners under 50mph, a large slalom course..

Labor day at Lime Rock,CT, there will be vintage racing and a vintage trans-am race demo. I think the Penske Camaro will be there as well as other vintage cars. I'm looking forward to seeing them up close.

My Lola is apart now but I hope to get it together for Nov.
If the turns are tight, like an autocross, then more caster will help. Othewise more caster than 2.5 to 3.5 degrees just makes the steering harder.
How is the car balanced in handling?

So Far we haven't had a chance to get it out anywhere, trying for next weekend. The brakes seem to be working better but the alignment is way out, all I can do is a run it up a road by my house, as there is no insurance or licnse I really dont do it all that often. It handles like a pig compared to my Formula Ford, It don't steer, and it don't stop but it sure gets up and fries the tires. I can hardly wait to lean on those vintage volvos ...

If you can get the understeer oversteer balanced you will be half way there...
Don't expect FF handling!
You will have fun sliding the rear end around a bit. That's the way to drive these cars.
