I just ran accross a hydro boost unit on eBay
out of a 1992 chevy 3500. the seller says it will bolt to the firewall of a first gen f-body w/o modification.

Can anyone verify this?

Are there hydro boosters from other vechiles
that will bolt to a 67-69 firewall?

I was under the impression that you had to special order this from hydroboost.com.

His buy it now price is kinda high. I was at O'Reilly auto parts, looking at mid '80's Monte Carlo vacuum boosters for my car, and they actually showed a hydroboost for it. Theirs was in the computer as 139.00 bucks. I think you could fab a bracket for any of them, or use one off of your car if it came with a vacuum booster and make it work.

I was just wondering if this hydroboost unit (or any other unit) would bolt to my firewall w/o modification.
