Whats the ride like, how long do they last CamaroNOTcamero Nov 17th, 01, 02:05 PM i have them in now, i love em, but make sure you use the grease the give you, otherwise they'll make lots of squeeks. i put them in about 2 mo. ago, and they're holding up fine. chevyboy68 Nov 19th, 01, 12:05 PM I got em on my whole car, a 68, including the motor and transmission mounts. I think there is no comparison to the stock rubber. All the rubber components that were previously on my car were in terrible condition and they were only a couple of years old. The rubber motor mounts broke, they were new. The control arm bushings wore out, also fairly new, And the body bushings and transmission mount was shot. Go with the polyurethane. And make sure you get black. They are graphite impregnated. I would also reccomend energy name brand bushing as opposed to pst or others. The energy bushings often include new hardware for things like the subframe bolts and they seem of better quality TJS69 Nov 19th, 01, 09:11 PM I received mine from Performance Suspension Components. Most of the stuff they supplied were Energy Suspension stuff. They had great deals. ------------------ 69 Camaro Z28 "clone" - 327 AT "461" camel back heads, edelbrock, hooker, ultradyne, TRW etc. 700R4 TPI transmission |
