Guys, which drums are correct for the rear axle? Are they suppose to be finned or not for a 1967 SS 12 bolt car? The drums I have on my car right now are not finned. They are the 2.5 X 11 though.

Hi scott I ran across this on e-bay and thought you might be interested in seeing this NOS brake drum that supposedly fits 67-69 camaro's. Its finned. Whether or not it was installed on 67 SS cars I dont have a clue. graemlins/beers.gif mike. If you need two drums let me know.. I pulled my two fronts off for the conversion.. There sitting in the garage collecting dust. They've only got maybe 400 miles on them.

Should be wider aren't they??

2.5" fronts vs 2.0" rears.

It's been too long??

Nantooch, are those finned or nonfinned? Seems the concensus here is that rears are non finned. If you do have non finned, I will email you after I get back from Reno tonight to make arrangements. BTW, can you snap of those a pic of those drums so I can compare and email it to me please? Thanks.

Never heard of an 11x2.5 drum on the rear of a Camaro. Is this strictly a 12bolt thing? I thought they were all 9.5x2 on the rear, 9.5x2.5 front.

I also thought only early '67 got unfinned.

What's the deal?
