I have found a setup for a power brake conversion, I just wanted to double check with you guys, is there any difference between the master cylinder used in a disc/drum power brake conversion, and a drum/drum power brake conversion? Basically I would like to be able to upgrade in the future, but don't have the $$ to buy disc. brakes and a booster/MC combo right now.

thanks

I would say yes, there is a difference. The resevoir for discs is larger to accomodate the caliper and there may be residual pressure valves in a drum MC and not a disc.

The all have a different size piston. A 67 metallic manual drum master cyl. is 7/8 and a regular manual is 1" I believe and power disc I believe are 1 1/8. I understand its for different petal pressure
