WHat are your experiences?
I'm ready to do my 69 and originally was just going to replace with orginal type rubber, but got to thinking that the poly do still have some flex to them and my not be that bad.
I had installed nylon bushings in my corvette years ago beleive that they transmited vibration, but the nylon was very hard unlike poly.
Just looking for opinions of those that have experience with both.
Thanks for the info
got compression?

Poly are the way to go. THey are stiffer though and dont give nearly as much rubber... there is a big diffrence in the two... poly are the way to go in my opinion they last forever.

Yep, read it and still would like to hear from those with experience with both.
I guess on of the main concerns are vibration.
Do the poly transmit vibration??
Thanks for the replys

I misstakenly posted this on the wrong thread so I repost it here, hope that it doesn't bother someone.

I'll think what matters most for the stiffnes is the shock adjustment. Koni's that are set to the hardest setting are rocksolid and is not recomended if you look for a acceptable comfort on the street.
I know of a guy that had his Koni's on the hardest setting and the car almost vibrated appart on bumpy roads. He had to get back on the shocks to a softer setting.
The polybushings are stiffer but the bushings don't take up the loads and bumps from the road. That's the job for the springs and shockabsorbers. What the bushings do is making the suspension less flexible so that the geometry is more stable. Flex is bad for any car and especially if you are going to race. If the car flexes in the suspension you loose power that should be hitting the asphalt instead. Flex in the frontsupension reduces the cornering abillity.
Just my thoughts on this.
