Installed PST suspension and body mount bushings. All went well until it came to the two bushings for the radiator support assy. Both rafiator support holes seem to be about 3/16 too small. PST says the parts are the correct ones. Has anybody else run in to this problem? Should I get out a 1/2 round file and make the bushings fit?

I bought Global West solid aluminum busings for my car and the rad support bushings were slightly larger than the holes in the support. I was able to enlarge them in about 20 minutes with a round rat-tail file. If you need to shave 3/16 though, I would use a power tool. You will be spending a lot of time trying to enlarge the holes with a hand file.

I installed Global West sub bushings in my 67, and had no problems, no mods to the holes were needed. The front were different size as I remember.
I did wind up trimming the front bushings height, as they were pretty tall.

I ran into that problem with one side. What happened is the old outer metal casing was rusted into the hole and wouldn't come out. I'd try a file if the old bushings are the same size as the new ones. I can't remember how I got the one out though. I'm sure I went to work with somethin on it.

I ordered my bushings from Global West two weeks ago and am still waiting. Hey David, how did you know they were to tall? I thought they were bolt on replacements only solid. I bought the interlocking ones. Also, do you think that their 1/2" lowering ones would really change the drive line angle enough to worry about the pinion angle?
