I have a 67 with drum brakes. I want to switch to power brakes. What do I need other than the power vacuum booster? Do I need a different brake splitter block? Do I need to add a proportioning valve?

If all you are doing is adding power brakes to a manual system, you need the booster and a new master cylinder. All else remains the same as far as parts go. The reason for the new master is that manual MCs used smaller piston bores and would make for a very quick/touchy brake pedal if used with a booster. Also, when you add the booster, you will then hook the push-rod to the lower hole on the brake pedal. Make sure the brake light switch gets adjusted also.

There is a stamped metal piece that must be added for the brake light switch to contact.
Get a booster and Master cyl together so the pushrod that goes into the back of the master cyl is the correct length. There is a long and a short pushrod.
You don't need to add anything else.
