The best way would be to buy different springs that will lower your car, like the Hotchkis springs. The easiest/cheap way would be to cut your coil springs you have in the car now, and add lowering blocks to the rear. Personally I have nothing against cutting coils and adding blocks, but sometimes I feel like others think it's sacrilege. ------------------ 68 468 700R4, and here it is; mutert23 (http://home.earthlink.net/~mutert23/) astrolt1 Mar 4th, 01, 05:58 AM i am putting in lowering spindles and i haven't figured out what the rear is going to recieve. new springs or blocks. we will see. good luck man Touring72 Mar 4th, 01, 04:39 PM [Hey Guldsrand him self SELLS cut MOOGE springs and overpriced lowering block so it must be good ------------------ wIll trade my girl friend for a Big Block 67stock Mar 5th, 01, 02:12 AM I like my cut MOOG's #6041. But the proper way is probly lowered spindles. They only work with discs so your in luck but they cost about $300. With those MOOG's I F***ed my (cheap) front shocks royal so get good ones if you do go with em. Also straight off the bat, cut those Moog's 3 straight coils, don't try to have em cut once then twice, 3 Coils and they're perfect. Then I'd probly say 1" tops in the back I even like my sagging 30yr old mono's I might just keep em and get new bushings. Dropping the front works wonders! |
