Has anyone tried the 1 1/2" lowering leaf springs from Performance Suspension (http://www.performancesuspension.com/)? I was wondering what the spring rate is also.

Thanks!
Mike

I was wondering the same thing. I called Performannce Suspension several weeks ago. The springs are made by Eaton springs and they do not disclose the spring rates to the distributor. You may want to get a part# and call eaton springs. http://www.eatonsprings.com/techinfo.htm

I have since gone with Hotchkis.

Greg,
I just got off the phone with Performance Susp. They said they are 5 leafs and he didn't know the spring rate. I will probably go with the Hotchkis springs myself. Anyone got a set?

Several members use the Hotchkis springs.
Or are you looking to buy a set?

The Hotchkis springs eliminated all the wheel hop I had before on the '69. The so called "Plant and GO" technology works well as the car really squats and lifts the front end. I wish they made this exact spring without the lower stance as I would be interested in them for the '67.

Or are you looking to buy a set? Joe,
I would like to see a couple pictures of 67 or 68 Camaro's with the Hotchkis rear leafs. I need to get a set of new rear leafs soon so I can install my new 12 bolt. I currently have mono springs. A measurement from the center of the rear wheel to the top of the wheelwell lip would also be of great help. Mine is currently at about 16". Right now it's going to either be the Hotchkis or the Detroit Speed 2" or 3' drop. You can see by the picture of my car in my signature that the rear is a little too high for my taste. I am running 245/50/16's which are 25.7"

Thanks!
Mike
