I'm in the process of pro-streeting my '68 Camaro and need to get my brake issues handled. I've got a narrowed Dana 60with disc brake set-up installed and am now up to front brakes, I plan on getting 2" dropped spindles and disc brake set-up but was wondering as far as the master cylinder and prop. valve what to do. Can I use my existing mast. cylinder ('68 orig. for drums frt. & rear) or do I need something different, also what kind of prop. valve should I use, I know that I can't use the old one. By the way the brakkes will be manual not power. Thanks for any imput.

Manual discs were an option only in 67. 68 and 69 had power discs only.
So get a 67 manual disc master cyl with a 1" bore. It has a little longer stroke and bigger reservoir than your drum brake master cyl.
Since you have four wheel discs, you don't need the residual pressure valve in the rear line. It's a little rubber piece that's behind the brass seat of the rear brake line port of the master cylinder.
You can try leaving it in, and remove it if it causes any trouble.
Superior spindle sells two kinds of drop spindles, one with stock size discs, the other has 1" X 12" rotors.
They both are cast iron with a machined spindle pressed in.
Use an adjustable proportioning valve and remove any prop valve you may have now (on the frame).
If you want to retain the brake warning light you can keep the block you have now under your master cyl. Just plumb the adjustable prop valve AFTER the warning light.
