I'm looking at Speed Direct's bolt on rack and pinion conversion. Has any one tried it and any opinions or know of other kits available

Have you tried doing a search on there? Try searching "steeroids".

I like the Unisteer system better from what I have read. I ordered one up so when it gets here and I get it installed I'll let you know. I know I will be working with header clearance issures so I might have to drop my Super Comps and go with something else.

I have talked to the Unisteer guys, found them user friendly, and plan to go with that unit. The problem I'm now facing is the CPP lowering spindle steering arms are not removable. CPP is telling me that they will have front lowering spindles with removable steering arms in about a month, you need to use the Unisteer arms for bump steer problem elimination. I just hope the 12" CPP front rotors will work on the new spindles.

Thank You for the help guys, nice to go on a forum and get information from members.

I'm still open for ideas or suggestions.

I got a response back from maval tech where the guy said I might have to add a third u-joint. What have you heard from them?

They told me the exact same thing so when I get it I guess I'll see. I told them to throw everything in that they thought I needed so when it gets here we'll see. I hate getting into something only finding out I need one more thing and its 5:00 pm and I need it now.

Yikes no one told me about a third U Joint. I Imagine because of the headers? I have Hookers and they are reasi=onably close to the block.
