Does anyone know the stock spring rates of a '68 camaro with a 327, 2bbl and mono-leafs? I'm thinking of lowering it in the front at the coils and I want to know which coils and what spring rates will keep me from bottoming out. I want the car to handle well. I'm not looking for a luxury ride. Right on everybody, everyone here has motivated me to finish my lady and one of these days I'll get some pictures...some day.

The Moog supplied stock replacement springs for std SB Camaros are 325 or so for the front, Moog springs are 5% stiffer than stock according to their catalog.

A Z/28 front coil is around 380
BB engined Camaros used a 325 spring also, just taller than a SB spring.
Mono leaf springs are very very soft, around 80-90 lbs/in.
Multi leaf are somewhere around 125 lbs/in Multi-Leaf springs are rising rate springs so the more weight on them, the stiffer the rate you get.

Does anybody know the spring rates of Hotchkis 2" lowering sport coils and the rate of their sport leafs? I'm thinking of getting some but I can't find the spring rates anywhere.
