Did you miss my answer to your question on Hotchkis springs. It is buried in all the "Looks great." replys. I am just curious if you found the problem, as I also am experiencing it.

I havent found any "problems" etc.. in other words the spring are seated correctly and nothing is rubbing or binding as best I can tell. As you can see with alot of the posts, everyone thinks the car will settle some and several people have ended up with the same stance as I have and its normal...... basically its just doesnt lower the car as much as you think it would. When you compare the car when it has 30 year old sagging springs, it probably is already 2 inches lower that it was originaly...... Basically I dont think there is a real problem, it just didnt lower the car as much as I would like. I planning on leaving it alone for now, letting it settle, finnish installing alot of the stuff that may add some weight and then figure out if I wasnt to lower it more...... TJS69 Mar 4th, 03, 06:41 PM Hi and thanks for the reply. I was curious as I am having the same problem. I looked at your pics and It did look nice, but not as low as I've seen others. Maybe it looks that way because of your rims. Mine has been like it is for almost two years, and it didn't seem to settle much after about a week. If you find something, let me know. |
