Well, I installed my SSM liftbars this weekend. COMPLETELY eliminated all traces of wheel hop! Happy about that. But, the rear of the car sits about 1.5 inches higher now (hate that) and the ride sucks! I was kind of expecting the ride to be stiff, so I can't complaing too much about that, but what about the ride height???? Doesn't make any sense to me why that would have changed. i loosened everything up with it sitting ont he ground and all the weight ont he springs and then retightened thinking that maybe it was too tight and binding or something, but it stills sits that much higher! I then loosened the front u-bolts where the bars are attached to the leafs but that didn't change anything either. Pretty strange, and I really liked the stance of the car before. So, any ideas on softening up the ride WITH the lift bars on it? It sure launches hard though - if you don't mind the ride, these things really work!

Did you use the shims that come with it to adjust the preload?

Yes, I installed them exactly as the instructions said. 2 shims on the pass. side and 1 on driver side.
