I bought my '67 Camaro as a project and the sway bars are nowhere to be found.
I plan on installing a hotchkis front sway bar. Is the rear one optional? There's no brakets on the diferential. I have a flowmaster exhaust system with the two chamber muffler, is there a problem installing a hotchkis rear sway bar?

My '68 was originally a 6 cylinder car. It didn't come with a front sway bar. The holes are in the frame to bolt one on, but they must be taped first. Rear bars are usually not necessary with a good rear spring.

That must be it. The car was originaly a V6. Thanks for the info. I guess I'll start with the front one for now and see how it goes.

Ben, I believe you meant to say that originally your car was an L6.. I don't think Chevy had started mass producing the V6 yet in '67 and I am pretty certain that no 1st. gen Camaro ever came with a V6...

My stock F-41 suspension upgrade was heavi-duty springs and the front 11/16" S/B..
And my delivered in '66, SS/RS car was too early to have the right rear radius-bar traction control device Chevy put on the later cars. pdq67

L6 = in line straight 6 in a 1st Gen camaro YES
V6 nope not in a 1st Gen Camaro
The not in a 1st Gen Camaro as stated by Go69 was reffering to a V6 type engine.

I would'nt know, the engine had already been removed when I bought the car. The trim tag confirmed that it was a 6 cylinder.
