I am converting from manual 4 wheel drums to manual disk front- drum rear brakes. Which master cylinder do I need. I looked at the one for 67 disk set up and it uses the long rod and has a 1"bore. Will this work? Nothing refferences manual disk brakes in the parts store computer. Does anyone have a part number I can use?

Thanks,

Matt

Matt, I have the same system you are trying to install. All of my parts came off of a 73 Buick Apollo. I used the original proportioning valve and just went to the parts store and got a M/C for a manual disc Apollo. Has worked great for 12 plus years!

Chevy Kid,

Which proportioning valve did you use? The Apollo's? My problem now is finding proportioning valve.
